About TXTL

Texas Tone Lab started with a simple love for guitars, the way they feel, the way they sound, and how the smallest details can completely transform an instrument.

Years of playing in a touring band and learning the art of setups, repairs, and customization brought me to the love of making a guitar unique and individual.

I work out of my home shop, and this isn’t how I make my living. It’s something I do because I genuinely love the craft. I see guitar work as part technician, part artist: bringing an instrument to life, finding its voice, and making it feel so good in your hands that you don’t want to put it down.

Every guitar that comes across my bench gets treated like it’s my own. Whether it’s a few-hundred-dollar workhorse, your first guitar, or an irreplaceable family heirloom, it gets the same patience, attention, and respect.

My goal isn’t just to “fix” guitars. It’s to make them play better, feel better, and sound better, and to give you complete confidence in who you’re trusting with your instrument.

That’s what Texas Tone Lab is about: great feel, great tone, and guitars you can’t wait to play.
